The Fuji Foundation Education Scholarship Scheme (FFES) offers scholarships to children of ex-servicemen (Army, Navy, Air Force, Northern Light Infantry, Defense Service Reservists, and Corps Mujahideen above 10 years of age).

FFES runs longer than any other educational welfare program funded by the military. They have announced their scholarship schedule for the year -24. The Fuji Foundation is a private trust whose objective is to improve the welfare of retired military personnel and their families.

Fuji Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Students studying at recognized or accredited schools can apply for the Fuji Foundation Scholarship if they meet the following conditions:

For first grade and above:

  • Children whose parents served in the military and died in service, or are deceased or disabled veterans.
  • Children with special needs or disabilities and children of veterans.

For 9th grade and above:

Children of all veterans.

  • Children with special needs or disabilities will receive financial support when they move to the next grade, regardless of their academic performance.
  • Students can apply for financial aid after the day their father or mother who served in the military dies.
  • A maximum of three children of an ex-serviceman can get financial assistance in one school (excluding special needs/handicapped children). However, there is no limit to the number of children eligible for the scholarship if their parents died in service, or are dead or disabled ex-servicemen.

Group 1:

  • These are students currently enrolled in secondary or DAE programs.
  • The minimum requirement for them is to score at least 80 per cent in their matriculation examination.

Group-2:

  • These students are in a bachelor’s degree program that usually lasts between 4 and 5 years.
  • To qualify, they need to score at least 80% in the FA/FSc exams.

Group 3:

  • These students are enrolled in cadet colleges and apply for pre-matric classes.

Group 4:

  • These are students who are currently in training from class 1 to class 10.
